The team has recently delivered and commissioned a mine-spec Striker mobile jaw and mobile cone crusher to a project in the Pilbara, marking another successful start-up in one of Australia’s toughest operating environments.
Designed specifically for contract mining conditions, the mobile jaw crusher has been built with durability, access and uptime front of mind. The machine is fitted with Hardox wear liners, pressurised control panels, a dual-drive forward conveyor, overband magnet, rock breaker, and a snorkel with turbo pre-cleaner to manage dust and heat. Hopper extension wings have been incorporated to allow efficient, safe feeding by a large Caterpillar 988 loader, supporting high-throughput operation.
The mobile cone crusher completes the circuit, delivering consistent secondary crushing for iron ore applications. It features Hardox hopper liners, increased ground clearance for improved site access, pressurised control panels, and a snorkel with turbo pre-cleaner, ensuring it remains fit for Pilbara conditions.
These machines are now processing hematite iron ore on the first of many contracts with their new owner. After initially hiring mobile equipment to establish operations, the customer made the decision to invest in new Striker machines as their operation expanded, with hired units remaining on site to support continued growth.
This project reflects Striker’s focus on practical, mine-ready solutions: heavy-duty equipment built for Australian conditions, configured to suit real site logistics, and designed to deliver reliable performance where it matters most.
