Primary Crushing of Magnetite Iron Ore

Striker mobile equipment is currently being used for primary crushing on an Australian mine site, operating across continuous day and night shifts.

The plant is processing magnetite iron ore, reducing the run-of-mine material before it moves through screening, secondary crushing and tertiary crushing.

Magnetite is dense and abrasive, which places constant load on the primary crushing stage. A steady feed from the jaw helps keep the downstream circuit supplied and reduces interruptions through the rest of the plant.

This application reflects the type of continuous hard-rock crushing duty Striker equipment is designed and manufactured to handle.
